3 "dried" hydrangea flowers in paper
For the creation of this bouquet of "dried flowers" I was inspired by the wonderful displays of hydrangeas in the gardens of my village in autumn. It is a riot of coleurs from red to green and every shade in between. Of course, I love the real thing but the paper versions don't go brittle and flake.
Each flower is handmade with the indivdual petals painted with watercolour to create realistic shades. I stick each petal to a metal wire which is placed in a shaped foam ball. Little by little the flower comes together.
- The arrangement includes 3 handmade flowers
- The stems are 30cm in length
- The flower heads are approximately 13cm wide
